What is TOEIC?
TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) is an English Language Proficiency test for people whose native language is not English. It measures the everyday English skills of people working in an international environment.
What is the format of TOEIC?
TOEIC is a two-hour multiple choice test that consists of 200 questions divided into two sections:
• Listening Section (100 questions, 45 minutes)
• Reading Section (100 questions, 75 minutes)

How is the TOEIC test scored?
The scores are determined by the number of questions answered correctly.
The number of correct responses is converted to a number on a scale of 10 to 990 (Listening Section: 5 to 495; Reading Section: 5 to 495).
There is no penalty for wrong answers.
What score do I need to “pass” the TOEIC test?
The TOEIC test is not a kind of test that one “passes” or “fails”.
Different jobs and tasks require different levels of English proficiency.

Prepare Yourself for The TOEIC TEST!
In English class, this question is often asked. ‘What is the easy and best way to learn English’. English can be difficult but there are ways to make learning more effective and enjoyable. Unfortunately there is no easy way to learn English.
1. Enjoy learning English!
It is difficult to learn anything if we do not enjoy it. Therefore try to have fun with English and try to make it a challenge rather than a chore.
2. Become a member of an active language club!
Meeting regularly with other keen language students will give you a lot of practice time and many good experiences. It is often easier to learn more from your friends in a social and fun environment.
3. Be active!
To really learn a language, especially speaking and listening, you need to be an active participant. Don't just be a bystander or spectator. Get in there and go for it — full steam ahead!
4. Fluency?
Some students think that the faster they can talk English then the more fluent they are. Remember if people cannot understand you then you are not actually fluent.
5. Perfection?
Many students want to speak ‘Perfect English’. They will even try to speak English until they are perfect. Your English will never be perfect — even native speakers do not use perfect English, especially in day to day conversation and in other informal situations. Your Bahasa Indonesia is not always perfect either so why expect your English to be perfect?

Tidak hanya berpusat pada kecerdasan intelektual (intelligence Quotient/IQ) semata namun juga diharapkan memiliki kecerdasan emosi (emotional Quotient/EQ); yang mengajarkan : integritas, kejujuran, komitmen, visi, kreativitas, ketahanan mental, kebijaksanaan, keadilan, prinsip kepercayaan, penguasaan diri atau sinergi; dan Kecerdasan Spiritual (Spiritual Quotient/SQ). Seseorang yang memiliki kecerdasan yang menyeluruh diharapkan akan lebih mampu menghadapi berbagai permasalahan hidup dalam dunia yang semakin global ini dan menyikapinya dengan lebih bijaksana.
Untuk mencetak lulusan yang memiliki kecerdasan menyeluruh, tidak memisahkan iman dengan rasio, serta tidak menceraikan EQ dari IQ , tentu teramat dibutuhkan sebuah kegiatan yang tidak hanya terkonsentrasi untuk mengasah otak saja. Berbagai kegiatan yang sangat memungkinkan untuk bisa mengembangkan pembelajaran emosi dan spiritual bisa didapatkan diantaranya dalam kegiatan Pengembangan Diri yang terdiri dari kegiatan Pengembangan Kreativitas dan Pengembangan Karir.
